  When we book this hotel the reviews were terrible. We were pleased to find on arrival that all the rooms have been refurbished. We had a fabulous two night stay here.

  Great location by the canal..Room was fine. Evening bar and check in staff were really good and friendly. Seemed to be a little under staffed You couldn't get food until 6pm from the bar but chef wasn't there at that time so had to wait to place order. Very strong odour whilst walking the corridor was rather unpleasant also noticed this is the pub although not quite as bad.

  The pub now permenently closed and car park is ANPR. BE CAREFUL IF YIU PULL INTO THE CAR PARK.

  Cracking room, nice and clean, in-fact they had just recently been refurbished so all the carpets, everything were all new, stayed here as was attending an event in mallham, nice clean tidy rooms, kettle, tea & coffee facilities in room, the air con was a huge bonus too.

  We had a newly refurbished family room. Comfortable beds and no external noise. We included breakfast with our stay but paid separately for dinner - this worked out expensive and would do the meal deal in future. Pros: freshly decorated room and corridor. Friendly and fast service at meal times. Ample parking. Quiet location. Cons: no towel radiator or hooks so nowhere to hang towels to dry. Outside space needs attention (this maybe part of the next refurbishment stage).
